Well two weeks of travel have taken their toll as it has kept me from updating my blog. I do head out again Sunday night for another week of travel. Some travel is great (MT), some is not (work). OK, you heard a couple of weeks ago a hacker won around $13,000 for hacking a new Mac with the Intel processors. Shortly after Apple offers, for free, a beta of Boot Camp which allows you to install native Windows XP on your Intel Mac. You need a FULL copy of Windows (not an upgrade disk) and Apple will not support the installation. They are just giving you the free boot program. Once Windows is loaded, you will get a load menu...boot Mac OS or Windows XP. You can not swap back and forth. You can run only one OS at a time. Why would any good Mac user want to run Windows!! BTW, If you run Windows you will be subjected to the same things the PC users are...viruses, spam, etc.

There is another program in beta (can't remember the name) that will allow you to install any other OS and run it along Mac OS. That would be the best of both worlds. Again; however, I find with all my work, I don't really need Windows. I have not found much that doesn't run on my Mac.
