Catching Up!

What a summer it has been. From Max putting a new engine in his truck to my brother Tom and his friend Ted crossing the country on their Harleys! First. Max decided to change the moter in his truck which had about 140,000 miles on it. He purchased a new "long block" and decided to overhual the trany at the same time. He took a week off of work to do the entire job - which it did take a week!! Check out the Max's photo's in the Photo Album section. After some fine tuning on the engine, which runs great, the trany was 100%. We took the truck in and had the trany overhauled. Turned out Max did a great job with an initial overhaul but there were some real problems with the transmission. Had he not hone anyhing with it, ti would have "crapped" out shortly. At the end - all is well and he did an outstanding job!
My younger brother, who is an oral surgen, flyer and avid biker just crossed the USA on his Harley Road King. He and his friend Ted shipped there Harleys to Los Angles then flew out and picked them up. they then crossed the county on their bikes! They staopped by in Erie for dinner with Megan, John and Max then breakfast with me in the AM then on their way to the shore in New Jersey!. They touched the water in the Pacific and wanted to touch the water in the Atlantic (plus Tom has a beach house on the shore). Whole trip took them a couple of weeks. The only rain they saw was about 3 minutes of a sprinkle!! They had great weather the whole trip.
We, the Invictas, are playing this weekend at the Pittsford, NY feastival. Should be a lot of fun!! Last big gig of the tour.
