Sorry to have been away for so long....been very busy. During my departure, we played at Pomodoro's and Nola's BBQ. Pomodoro's was good and we sounded great. We did blow the speakers in two of our sound cabinets. Turns out we not only blew them, we melted the voice coil to the magnet. I believe "clipping" from the bass might have resulted in that. Guess the old comment "if it is too loud, you are old", that does not work for us. Crank up the volume!

Second gig was Nola's. The Hickey Bros. could not make it as it was Fathers day. We had a fill in drummer, Dave Collin (may be spelling Dave's name wrong). He did a great job since he was unable to even practice with us. Dave did play with the Invictas (second version) back in the late 1960's. It was a very hot day, probably up near 90 F.

We just finish playing at the East End Fest in Rochester. The city closes off a bunch of streets and has 7 stages and 10 bands. Another very hot Friday evening but a great packed crowd. Channel 10 highlighted us on the evening news. I have a clip captured off TV. Go to the Movies link and you can see the actual clip. This must have pissed off the "head liners" since we got the attention....."Rochester's legendary '60's Rock Band".
