Well it has been quite a while - mostly due to a lousy winter. The only fun thing I did this winter was use the deluxe snow blower. In fact my son had a great idea for spring. I should borrow a snow maker from Peak ’n Peak to make some snow so I can use the blower.

It was a sad day over the weekend as we found out an old friend, Herb Benjamin, of mine and the Invictas died of cancer last week (week of March 14th). Herb smoked a lot and it finally caught up with him as he had cancer of the mouth. Unfortunately Herb’s parents and sister (his only remaining family) had passed on sometime ago. Herb was always a good friend who never hesitated to jump in and help the band. I can still remember him coming over to my apartment back in the 70’s to watch March Madness. Now I will think of him every March Madness. We will also be reminded of Herb every road trip, every time we set up and tear down. Herb will be missed but he is now in a far better place and feeling no pain. Rock on Herb!

Well speaking of the Invictas we are starting to put together our tour for this summer. As things shake out, I’ll let you all know what the scoop is.
